I’m L.C. Olson. I might be Lucas Olson if you’ve known me a while. I’m a writer and photographer based on the North Shore of Massachusetts. I use They/Them pronouns.

I write spooky fiction, sincere nonfiction, and sloppy poetry. I don’t believe complex language is necessary to express complex ideas.

I like taking photos of familiar things in a way that makes them feel unfamiliar. I like taking photos that characterize a person without the person needing to be in it.

I think Queerness is a miracle. I think being alive is the best and worst thing that could happen to you.
